Who we are, what we sell, and how a DIY insect screen gets to your door in Singapore.
What we actually are
We are an online shop. We sell direct to the public across Singapore and deliver to your door, so you can buy fly screens without paying for a showroom or an installer. There is no van, and nobody turns up at your house.
That is most of the reason a screen from us costs what it does. The fitting an installer would charge for is the part you do yourself, and it needs no tools.
Why a door screen has to close itself
Most door screens fail the same way. They work well when you have a free hand, and the rest of the time they get propped open with a foot, a bag or a knee, and the flies walk in behind you.
That is why we sell magnetic screen doors. Magnets are sewn down the middle, so you walk through, it opens, and it pulls itself shut again while your hands are still full. There is nothing to slide and nothing to remember.
And why a window screen has to come off
Windows have the opposite problem. A screen that is screwed on stays on, and the one time you want to clean the glass you need a screwdriver.
Ours press on instead. The magnetic window screen sits on a self adhesive magnetic strip you stick round the frame, and finger tabs on the bottom corners let you pull it away and press it back. The hook and loop version fixes with an adhesive edge and works on any frame shape. Where a cat uses the window, there is a heavier pet mesh that stands up to claws.
Cut to fit, put up without tools
The window screens come in five kit sizes and you trim them down to the opening you have, so the fit does not depend on your window matching a catalogue size. Nothing is drilled and nothing is screwed into the frame.
Window screens run from 1000mm x 1000mm up to 2000mm x 2000mm. Screen doors run from 60cm to 180cm wide, at 210cm or 240cm high. Measure your opening, pick the size that covers it, and cut the rest away.
Being straight about what we do not do
We do not install, we do not come out to measure, and we do not repair screens for you. Those are services a local screen installer sells, and we are an online shop.
What we sell is the kit and the parts to do it yourself: replacement mesh in three grades, PVC frame and magnetic strip by the metre, and corner piece sets. If your window or doorway is not a stock size, ask for a price on a screen made to your measurements on our made to measure quotes page.
A mesh screen is also not a security screen. It stops what walks and flies into an open window or doorway. It will not stop anything that means to get in, and we would rather say so here than take the order and hear about it later.
How ordering works
You order on this site and pay by card through Stripe or with PayPal, in Singapore dollars. Delivery is free on orders of $50 or more. Under $50, EXPRESS DELIVERY at $22 is the delivery option, and you can choose it at any order value. Orders arrive in 5-7 days, after a 24-48 hour order handling and processing time.

What we sell
Magnetic window screens
Five sizes from 1000mm x 1000mm to 2000mm x 2000mm, with a black, brown or white frame and standard or midge mesh. It presses onto a self adhesive magnetic strip and pulls away at the corner tabs.
Adjustable window screens
A hook and loop edge instead of magnets, in black or white, with standard, midge or pet mesh. It works on any frame shape and material.
Cat proof window screens
Heavy duty pet mesh on a hook and loop edge, for a window your cat sits in and pushes against. Black or white, and the window still lets the air through.
Magnetic screen doors
16 sizes from 60cm to 180cm wide, at 210cm or 240cm high, in black, brown or white. Magnets sewn down the middle close it behind you while your hands are full.
Chain and string door curtains
An aluminium chain curtain in black or silver that hangs on two hooks, and a polyester string curtain in black or white with a rod pocket.
Swatters and spares
A rechargeable electric mosquito swatter and a leather fly swatter, plus replacement mesh in three grades, PVC frame and magnetic strip by the metre, and corner piece sets.

Who am I buying from?
Magnetic Screens Company, a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd. The trading name, the company registration number and both addresses are in the panel on this page.
Do you have a shop I can visit?
No. We sell online only and hold no retail premises. Everything ships from stock.
Do you install the screens?
No. Every screen we sell is fitted by the person who buys it. Nothing is drilled.
Do you come out and measure?
No. You measure the opening yourself and order the size that covers it. If you are not sure which size that is, email us the numbers before you order.
Can I get a screen made to my measurements?
Yes, on request. Ask for a quote on the made to measure window or door page. Our stock sizes are made to be cut down to fit, and most people use those.
Do you repair screens?
Not as a service. We sell the parts to do it yourself: replacement mesh in three grades, magnetic strip and PVC frame by the metre, and corner piece sets.
What sizes do the window screens come in?
Five, from 1000mm x 1000mm up to 2000mm x 2000mm. Order the size just above your window and trim the screen down.
What sizes do the screen doors come in?
From 60cm to 180cm wide, in 210cm and 240cm heights. The sizes on the product page are the sizes that exist.
What colours can I have?
The magnetic window screen has a black, brown or white frame. The velcro and cat window screens have black or white edging. The magnetic screen door comes in black, brown or white, the chain door curtain in black or silver, and the string curtain in black or white.
Magnetic or velcro, which window screen should I pick?
Take the magnetic one if you want to pull the screen away to open the window or clean the glass. Take the velcro one if you want a flexible screen that presses onto a hook and loop edge.
What is midge mesh?
A tighter 20 x 20 weave than standard mesh, for midges and other very small flying insects that get through ordinary fly screen.
What is pet mesh?
A heavier weave of vinyl coated polyester for a window a cat or dog sits at and pushes against. It stands up to claws better than standard mesh. It is a tougher screen, not a barrier that will hold an animal in.
Do I need any tools?
A tape measure and a cutting blade or strong scissors. No drill and no tradesman. The chain door curtain is the one exception: its header strip hangs on two screws.
Will it damage the window frame?
No. The magnetic window screen comes off without damaging the frame, which is why it suits rented homes.
Can I take a window screen off to clean the glass?
Yes. Finger tabs on the bottom corners let you pull the magnetic screen away, and it snaps back into place when you let go.
Chain curtain or string curtain for a doorway?
The aluminium chain curtain suits a doorway that is walked through all day and hangs on two screws. The string curtain is lighter and slots onto a rod, pole or wire.
Is a mesh screen a security screen?
No. It stops what walks and flies into an open doorway or window. It will not stop anyone who means to get in.

What does delivery cost and how long does it take?
Free on orders of $50 or more. Under $50 the delivery option is EXPRESS DELIVERY at $22, which you can also choose at any order value. Delivery takes 5 to 7 days after a 24 to 48 hour handling time.
Can I return something?
Yes, within 15 days of purchase, less a non-refundable $55 per order handling fee. Custom sized screens cannot be returned. The refunds and returns page sets out the conditions in full.
What if it arrives damaged?
Email theteam@singaporemagneticscreens.com with your order number and a photo and we will put it right.
How can I pay?
By credit or debit card through Stripe, or with PayPal.
What currency are your prices in?
Singapore dollars.
Can I buy mesh on its own?
Yes. Replacement flyscreen mesh in standard, midge and pet grades, in 100cm, 150cm and 200cm squares, for a frame that is still good.
Can I buy magnetic strip and frame separately?
Yes. Magnetic strip and PVC frame are sold by the metre, and corner piece sets on their own. People use them to make several smaller screens out of one larger kit.
Do you sell anything for the insects that get in anyway?
A leather fly swatter on a 43cm metal handle and a rechargeable electric mosquito swatter with an LED light.
Do you supply trade or bulk orders?
Yes. The wholesale quote page takes the products and quantities you need, and we come back with pricing.
Can I call you?
There is a number on the contact page and it reaches an international call centre. Email is faster and it is the route we answer first, usually within one business day.
How do I track my order?
